So Cal Girls looking to do big things at Alcorn State

Maegan Ariaz, Temescal Canyon High School (Temecula) and Priscilla Guardado, Mater Dei High School(Chula Vista) will be continuing there soccer careers at Division I Alcorn State. Maegan a Goalie and Priscilla a Defender, were thrust into action the first game of the season, a tough loss to the very talented Southeastern Louisiana.

Alcorn State is located in Loman, Mississippi and compete in the MIghty SWAC Conference. There next game is at Home vs. Nicholls State. Yarithza Felix and the Culver-Stockton College Women’s Soccer Prepare for first match of the season.

Yarithza Felix (Montgomery HS) and her Lady Wildcat teammates will have two scrimmages before their home/season opener against Hannibal-La Grange College.  Culver-Stockton College is located in Canton, Missouri and they compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC).  We wish Yarithza, a Freshman Defender and the Culver-Stockton Wildcats a great season. FOR LIVINGSTONE COLLEGE. SAMSON SOARED 17′ 0 3/4″ TO TOP THE SCHOOL RECORD THAT

WAS SET IN 2010. ONLY A FRESHMAN, SAMSON ALSO RAN IN THE 4 X 400M RELAY FOR THE LADY

BLUE BEARS IN THE 2013 APPALACHIAN STATE INVITATIONAL AT APPALACHIAN STATE UNIVERSITY.

SAMSON HELPED HER TEAM TO A 2ND PLACE FINISH IN THE INVITATIONAL. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK

VS. CENTRAL ARKANSAS, IN HER FIRST COLLEGIATE GAME OF HER CAREER!

SHE THEN FOLLOWED THAT WITH A STRONG 5 POINT 13 REBOUND PERFORMANCE

VS. NEBRASKA-OMAHA AS THE LADY BRAVES WON THEIR FIRST GAME OF THE NEW

SEASON, THANKS IN LARGE PART TO WILSON.THEN CAME PAC-12 COLORADO AND

BIG TEN FOE ILLINOIS WHERE SHE COMBINED TO SCORE 8 POINTS & PULL DOWN 8

REBOUNDS. ALCORN THEN TRAVELED TO JAMES MADISON UNIV. WHERE ANGELICA

SCORED A CAREER HIGH 9 POINTS AND CHIPPED IN WITH 5 REBOUNDS. NOT A BAD

START FOR THE 6 FOOT FORWARD FROM SAN DIEGO. NEXT UP FOR WILSON AND THE

LADY BRAVES IS TENNESSEE TECH, THEN ON TO PLAY IN THE LOUISIANA-MONROE TOURNEY

VS. LOUISIANA-MONROE, LOUISIANA-LAFAYETTE AND EAST CAROLINA. IF THAT WASNT TOUGH

ENOUGH, THE LADIES WILL TRAVEL TO AWAY GAMES AT PENN STATE AS WELL AS TO ANN

ARBOR TO TAKE ON THE UNIV. OF MICHIGAN. AFTER THAT, THEY WILL SETTLE INTO

CONFERENCE PLAY IN THE MIGHTY SWAC. WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU “JELLY” AND WISH
